Does anyone know what is happening to the Bondage Whorehouse (sorry Bonding Warehouse)? It was a thriving pub and restaurant at one time but seemed to go downhill rapidly a few years ago and never recover. Window frames seem to have been knocked out makigthe building look like a toothless monste.

The N from the lettering on the side of the building was missing for a while and I always think of this as the "Bo Ding Warehouse" (some sort of Chinese import place?! :-D)
I read an article about it in the York Press quite recently. The developer who bought it last year and was going to convert it into flats and a restaurant is now (if I remember rightly) thinking of turning it into office space instead, as someone has expressed an interest in the upstairs section.
Renovating was going on last summer but seems to have ground to a standstill now. It does look in a bit of a sorry state.
It does lookk to be in a sorry state - I remember it from a river trip about 10 or 12 years ago and it looked a fine building at that time.
