You just have to admire the woodworking skills used on th construction of this porch at the door of Jacob's Well in Trinity Lane. The new replacements stand out a bit but will surely weather and blend in over the coming years. The building dates back to the 15th century and is one of my favourite little gems in this part of town next to Holy Trinity Micklegate.

Jacob's Well - Trinity Lane
This small timbered building in Trinity Lane just off Micklegate is part of Holy Trinity church. Drop in on a wednesday morning for a coffee.
